INGREDIENTS
- 2 large chicken breasts, cooked, shredded
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1/2 green pepper, diced
- 1 quart canned tomatoes (or 28 ounce canned stewed tomatoes)
- 1 cup water
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
DIRECTIONS
- In a large pot, combine shredded chicken, onion, green pepper, tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve (with cornbread ... or a cinnamon roll) and enjoy.

YUM! Okay, I'm completely intrigued by the combination of cinnamon rolls and chili. I've never heard of this, but it sounds just as right as chicken and waffles! Keep up the search :-)
Your chili looks wonderful! And I'm sure the cinnamon rolls only make it better! I love the pairing of the sweet and salty too, so I'm sure this is delicious!
